Holly and Anna Colleen

Posted by on May 20, 2010

CIMG6656_edited-1Hi, my name is Anna and I am the youngest of the four daughters of Dirt and Lanny.  My mom, Lanny has asked me to post on the farm blog about the horses and mostly about my horse Holly.  She is rather special because she is due to have her first foal at the end of June or the first of July.  We are all very excited!

CIMG6679_edited-1 Even though she is pregnant I am still able to ride her.  Donald Weeks, the man who’s stallion I used, says to treat her as if she is normal, because she is.  She is getting the same feed she always gets just a bit more and she will get more as time goes on.

CIMG6683 Now that it is getting closer to the end of her eleven month gestation she is showing more and there will be more to do for her.   So I will be back soon with an update.

Hi Anna, I remember back last year when you first blogged about Mr. Weeks and his stallion. How exciting to be close to having a foal. I will be anxious to read all about the big news. Hope you have a great weekend.
