The Ark

Posted by on August 14, 2009

I know, it’s raining. It’s raining and I mention the Ark, and now everyone’s thinking I’m thinking Noah. Ya, kinda started there for a half second, but I’m not.

I’m thinking Ark of the Covenant. It holds the testimony of God. Our heart could be an Ark. Exodus 25, Hebrews 9-10 then of course Hebrews draws me beyond the Ark and into the tabernacle and the priestly garments. And I wind up to where the earthly forms of these are nothing but a shadow. Shadows of what is here or to come which ever version you happen to read. (oops realize I didn’t finish typing this at the time of publish post button hitting)

The next thing I know I am reading Revelations 10 through 12.

Hmmmmm. Thinking. This might mean I might not be back for days, maybe even weeks, Or I could be back later this afternoon…
